These collector mufflers meet the 95 dB requirement of the NHRA rule book.

Our Dyno testing was performed by an independent engine builder, not affiliated with Lemons Headers.

Using a chassis Dyno, the test vehicle was a '67 Nova, with a 540 CU. In. BBC, 15-1 Compression, and using a 2 3/8" x 2 1/2" step header. This was a comparison test between our collector muffler and a comparable competitors collector muffler. As you can see on the Dyno sheet both mufflers performance was fairly equal until the higher RPM range. Final results show our collector mufflers with a 17.6 HP advantage at the rear tire and a 1.8 FPT increase.
